Federal budget commits $631.2 million to expanding work placement opportunities for students

Yesterday’s federal budget announcement included¬†$631.2 million over 5 years to expand student work placement and experiential learning programs with the goal of giving every student access to work experience while in post-secondary education. The budget also pledges $150 million in support of partnerships with innovative businesses, and $17 million to improving communication between industry, schools, and students.
